Even if he didn't say what he meant or mean what he said, I think my points regarding the systems in need of improvement stand. These are not massive man-hour projects, either... but you and I have been over this before, and I don't expect to change your mind this time.
I do think you need a better assessment of the flaws in Salem's systems - as others have commented here, it's not common for developers to have first-hand knowledge of how their systems are working in practice. However, some way to get feedback and assess these problems is a key to success. Either collect raw data and analyze it, or take feedback from trusted players.
I think the latter is the correct course of action. The experience of Salem to-date has shown your standard crew of cronies aren't providing the feedback you need. You've decided the Tribe can't be trusted to provide feedback. I don't have an easy answer for you, but you do need to find faces who play the game and whose judgement can be trusted. Faces who don't just tell you that something is wrong, but can tell you *why* it is wrong.
