Announcements of major changes to Salem.

Marketing to your own existing customers really isn't a big marketing campaign. Also, remember that Google Ads are based on information Google pulls from your browser (your using Chrome, aren't you?) and search history--and mail if you have a Gmail or Google+ account. I tend to run ad blockers, so didn't see any of those banner ads (which are pretty much hosted by Google Ads). (Note: no offense to the websites that rely on advertising, but most of it is usually cumbersome or intrusive to the page.)

Its a bit stupid to advertise an unfinished product. Game lacks more that 50% of the content and even the implemented content is changing, its far form being released. Only people that are really in this kind of games will stick around once the join and they are most likely to bump into it searching trough google. I found salem trough paradox but dont forget that a lot people came from H&H.

That's the problem, if customers will want to stay and play game.

I realize that by many the game "is well done, balnced and playable", i won't "judge" that anymore.
I know, I'm totally useless, ******, can't play this game, didnt put much thought to it etc. But one big question is: how many will? How many are able to comprehend game system, how many will be able to use it to their advenage.
Currently, those who can't (most of gamers worldwide?) will be slaughered like pigs. No other option.

Also notice, that not everyone have real life friends who want to play this game to build a city. Even of you're powerfull, got 300 biles, what can u do against 4-6 russians (including MMTribe [i know you're not russians, but to me its same]) who attack you? Nothing.
(MMTribe's success is not based on one person's success, but rather on teamwork. Few started game, got to high levels fast and were able to kill in few more powerfull characters.).
They can rotate while destroying walls etc. So after breaking in everyone still got some high biles.
Notice: getting people to play with you in game is risky deal, alot of spies ^^

Even hardcores who had 300-500 biles leave this game, if their avatars are killed and they need to start over.

The problem is, as I said many times i think, if people like this concept (whenever its good or bad). Server population is dwindling instead of rising.

So any marketing to get a customer to play for a day or three is wasted money.

Everyone who don't like rules that salem is going with and goes to ather game is sour *****? O.o

Can't undesrstand this way of thinking: "Game is awesome, everyone who disagree is sour *****/etc, doesn't knwo how to play and should never be born".
Wonder how many of you would stop playing if were bullied by others constantly. You will never admit it, but most surley you would leave game at some point :D.
Now game is fun cause you're "winning".

PS: It ain't wouldn't be hard to Bot Salem. Some great heads with java knowledge are already doing it :) Maybe that's "the skill" everyone jabber around. But not everyone is doing so, so the're happy and this game is better. (not accusing any1 :) )

If more people played salem like they do hnh then there would be more use of bots here.
