Moderators will at times report posts when they are simply exhausted by subjects or aren't sure about the proper way to handle a situation. Even I've done such when stressed out from the day. Darworth, your threats and post aren't even remotely on topic. If you absolutely feel the need to go through with creating your own forum, that is of your own volition and you are welcome to do so. I believe that there are still development kits running around to help with creating sites like that, though I think they're a bit buried.

With that said, I'm going to go ahead and prune a bit. I ask politely that you do not simply repost your message and will warn you and so forth if you do.

Edit: Bilgepump, I'm not sure if you got into contact with Pjotr. If not, shoot me a pm or we can discuss it here.

@JWhitehorn

You're right in saying that you were not warned before the ban. I initially removed your post and was still thinking about whether to leave it at that when I noticed you posted another. That's when I decided to go for a short ban, because you just went on trolling / disrupting the topic. People seem to think I moderated the topic because I had great respect for the deceased, because I'm allergic to the word "soccer" or due to the implied link between gayness and football. That's actually not the case; everyone can feel about football/soccer however they do. The reason I did something because you were trolling a topic discussing the death of someone, which is rather inappropriate and in poor taste. I apologise for not being more clear with the green; you're right I should have been and what's expected. However, you saying you didn't see the first post being removed, doesn't fly. Besides, as Magicman also implied, you could have shown a bit more grace in not posting it. In that it falls under the "Behave" rule, I think.

Why you guys feel you can just make **** up is well beyond me.

My first post was done @ 7:58 A.M.
viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1139&start=2860#p108408

As you can tell in the Hinnom and original thread. Absolutely no indication of its departure from the thread is noted or referenced. I went and destroyed a few bases, scalped a few noobs, and basically fukked off to other areas of the forum. Evidenced by a Post here @ 8:45 A.M. 47 Minutes Later.
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8329&p=108410#p108410

I then returned to the other thread and remembered that there was a plethora of gay soccer images when I searched it and figured that it had been a little while and I should present another to the forum community, knowing that they most likely were on the edge of their seat to see more homo-erotic behavior from the silly activity known as "soccer". This post was made @ 9:16 A.M. which was a total of 1 Hour and 18 Minutes later.
viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1139&start=2860#p108413

You claim that you were "thinking about what to do with me" One hour and Eighteen minutes after my post is comical. I received no warning and no green text about the post for 1:18 Minutes. I simply clicked the thread, hit reply, and posted another picture oblivious to the fact that you were Stealth Moderating the thread and laying and waiting to ambush me. By your new logic every poster should wait 2+ hours in-between posts of similar content as it could take you up to 2 hours to make up your mind on if its worth your time to make a 30 second warning or green text.

As I said 24 hours is hardly worth fighting over. At this point I'm just making sure that the Moderators lies to the general public in this thread is evidenced for all to see. Next time you try to justify an ambush don't forget that posts are time-stamped.

EVERYONE goes back and reads ALL of their previous posts in any given thread before posting another reply... Everyone knows that, don't play dumb, Chief.

Chief is going to be unbanned as soon as Jorb see's this. No idea why you are even a mod for the Salem forums. You do nothing but cause more problems for Jorb.

At the very least we're asking for consistency. Pjotr's lack of a warning was a bad call, easily forgivable. This is much worse. Are you silencing a player until such a time that their arguments against what they believe to be unfair bias are more acceptable to a portion of the community you represent? Do you somehow feel that his position has been delivered in such a way that he deserves to be permabanned?

We're already a very small community and it's things like this that just drive the players further from the forum and the game. The situation was handled poorly, and by not acknowledging that, it escalated. The right thing to do would probably have been to verse everyone on protocol, address his concerns WITHOUT banning him, provide a position, and move on. That's what it means to settle. Instead you provide no context for a decision, shut him up, and shuck all responsibility for it to jorb, as though having defended himself, or in your words, having argued, necessitates permanently banning someone pending review by an admin.

This is a shameful day for Moderation v2.0.

Yeah this is pretty rediculous, this could have been handled much better or you guys could suck it up that you made an unfair bann or mistake and just let it go

Why don't you retards talk to jorb instead of harassing mods here that see you post, roll their eyes in preparation of not giving a ***** about what you post due to the fact its the same **** every time one of you cry about a warning/ban.
