I'd like to suggest a permaban for jwhitehorn, Darwoth, Binks, Dallane, and colesie. Potjeh should be scolded for being foolish enough to respond in a stupid manner to recent comments.

I don't know if I'd call it stupid, but it's not practical. jorb has shown he's not going to permaban those that keep the drama moving while the game has only a small group of players. Maybe this is a part of the problem, maybe it's not.

I agree that it isn't practical. The worst part of all this is that every one of those people I mentioned contribute a great deal to the community, yet they repeatedly and frequently act like insolent children toward the whole community. That behavior makes their otherwise excellent contributions worthless, in my opinion.

We began with a courteous and concise complaint against a fair clear case of shoddy moderation. Sabinati then responded impolitely, but turned around and cried foul when this was returned in kind. How can you try to hold forum-goers to a standard you won't hold yourself?

The initial ban, even if only a day, was absurd. The way it was handled was incompetent. The response to our complaints was unprofessional. Banning me for a day for stating my case without making any serious attempt to respond to it is foolish.

A warning was given to jwhitehorn by Pjotr and then shortly there after a ban was placed for the reason: "Trolling the Eusebio thread, posting basically the same after first post was removed"

The reason for the ban would be continued trolling of a thread after a warning had been issued.

By the sounds of it Chief feels as if this was handed out too hastily and the correct action would simply have been to message Pjotr or have someone message Pjotr explaining that he was in the process of posting multiple pictures and had not noticed the warning before making his post. That's an easily remedied situation.

This type of escalation is in poor taste for all of us and I hope that it can stop before getting further out of hand.
