It's a eulogy thread about a player. I suppose being respectful or not probably isn't the biggest issue as random pics, suggestive or not, are going too far off topic in my opinion. Another place or thread on the forum and they probably wouldn't even get a bat of an eye from the mod team. Let me remind everyone one of the rules is to keep it friendly, and death can be such a sensitive issue. It's not a clearly labeled thread such as "More Politics" that warns others that might be a bit more sensitive to the issues to wear their lead-lined underwear because things might go nuclear.

It's also suggested that when certain posts are removed, others should not follow up with the exact same thing either out of protest, trollilng, or just trying to be funny. I didn't check the time of the posts when I moved the ones out (only about a 10 minute difference acccording to time stamps on the posts), but what I had gathered by a statement from Pjotr84, jwhitehorn had already been banned for a day for posting pics before the latter ones had been posted. When I see something like this, it only makes me want to ban the next person that posts the same thing for a longer period, and I would probably be right to do so. Seems like there was an issue with several people getting a month or even permabans not long ago for repeatedly posting the same crap over and over, at least two of which had posts moved to Hinnom today on this issue.

For transparency's sake I'd like to say that I decided to ban Whitehorn after he posted the second pic, when he saw I removed the first one. It's rather disappointing to see people post stuff like that in topics like this in the first place, but when they continue to do so after their posts have been moderated, that's grounds enough for a short ban in my view.

Ah, but the post was not "moderated". I was going to post several Soccer pics in a Soccer thread and did not even realize that my first one was missing. I understand that this guy has died, and that somehow in some cultures that immediately triggers a necessity for some level of Respect. Hitler has died, yet I doubt anybody would object to offensively photoshopped images of him paraded around on the forums in a dress or as a monkey. Which then means that it is not simply the action of posting pictures in what was determined a "eulogy" thread even though it was clearly a "soccer" thread. It means that it is determined by the respect level of the person deceased. You apparently respect him for playing a woman's game. I clearly did not. Enforcing YOUR level of respect on a 3rd party against the entire forum community in a Forum that up until now was a "Troll-Free" section is silly at best.

As for posting when you already moved it. Don't move **** without writing green then. You didn't Moderate" my first post. You didn't give me a warning. You didn't post green text after you moved it. My post was simply gone. Your now saying that before I EVER POST ANYTHING EVER I must go back through the entire thread and make sure you have not "STEALTH MODERATED" anything reptitive which would actually require me to go through EVERY POST IN THE HINNOM to verify what Im' posting hasn't already been subject to moderation.

The simple solution here is to not be lazy and green text when you move ****. If you would have green texted that my first picture was unacceptable then I would have seen it and not posted a 2nd. I would have obeyed the new rules created out of thin air:

*No Trolling in CotH
*No disrespecting a deceased person that is respected by a Moderator.

Either way, I appreciate that you limited the injustice to (1) day. Similarly to when Cops Detain a black dude for being black for 24 hold on random "suspicion". It may be biased and it may be wrong... but at least its only 24 hours.
