Well it's not like i would cause anyone any harm, i don't play criminally. It's just that me wanting to exist there and want to do good is out of the question for them unless i give them a couple of silver.

About my place getting leveled, i was thinking that if my place got leveled enough times i would probably feel like i had to pay to progress forward anyway. But ofc.. that i would always be given the choice before they would come and start hammering it down.

Well so far the polls read

66 % either hate or don't care for the tribe....
only 2% love the treaty
only 2% hate the tribe because of death or destruction raising suspicion that it may have been mostly his own alt kills...
Claeyt is by far more popular and entertaining than chief
20% of the population believes that chief is solely responsible for the low population of the servers.

I think this was a pretty good poll but I wished there was an option for

I hate chief peepookaka because he's always reading my mail

Regardless you are playing crimanally if you choose to not pay to settle on tribal lands, doing harm isn't the case here. Simply pay or live on the free territory provided, or be like me and play smart enough to not get yourself killed

You are right. I could do what you said, and there is a high chance i would survive. But then i wouldn't be playing the game like i would want it. Im a builder, i would emmediately get seen because i pave like mad. I know i could be pretty invisible by not paving anything, and living inside a mine or something. Not my style. I want the option to play dumb and live somewhere (no not the reservation), and without paying silver and with the tribes permission.. and the mm tribe is not granting this. damn them. In my first post i had suggested something but i guess it sounds too riddiculous for them to even think about it.

I guess the thing that annoys me most is that their ways are so set in stone that they can't take a step towards my direction and try to see it my way so we could perhaps find some common ground or intrest. Or atleast talk about different scenarios that might or might not be possible to implement, without destroying what the tribe stands for and what some parts of the community might want.

EDIT: I am very thankful for you Tylan for answering and discussing with me a little. And the rest of you who have voiced their opinions.

Good evening Syndarn,

You have spoken untruthfully here, revising history to make your mistakes seem less egregious. You've claimed earlier in this thread that you would've been fine if your base had been trashed but your character remained - and then complained you were killed without warning:

Syndarn wrote:I guess i could live with that if i didn't pay and my place got leveled and i'd get to keep my character. In the end i would probably end up paying, but when my char gets killed in the process of the tribe "justice", after that It feels kinda pointless to take that risk again. Easier to go to another server.

EDIT: Get's killed without a warning and a chance to pay the treaty. Act ask questions later. Not really a goverment i want to put myself under.

However, that's not really what happened, as shown by your own posts in your thread about our interaction. What happened was that your base was trashed, and then you were informed it had likely been by the Tribe because you were not a Treaty Payer. To this you responded you would not be paying the Treaty:

Syndarn wrote:And if this was the Tribe. Treaty payments are off. Forever. You screwed up.

This was the point at which I felt justified killing you, and did so. You had a chance, and you threw it away. Your claims here otherwise are spurious.

Hello Ikpeip.

I think you have understood this abit wrongly. What i said there is theoretical thought if what i think i could perhaps live with if i started to play right now and this would happen again. And if my base would be leveled enough times i would get tired of it and i would probably end up paying the treaty.

And under no circumstances 3-4 months ago have i heard anyone of you say the following: "If you do not pay the treaty, we will kill you. You have been warned." Wich i was expecting from a big faction like you. If this question would had been asked at gunpoint, i would have probably ended up paying to save my character. Even Captain James had the courtesy to warn me what was gonna happen. And he did it ingame not through any forum trickery.

What you should learn is that you should not take everything that everyone says for granted. Peoples opinions and ways change when they are represented with options or hear the story of another.

You offered none before the murder or base trashing.

If you truly are true roleplayers, you don't use the forum as a medium in having in character discussions or hunting information. Unless it's a thread meant and marked just for that.

I think you will find that in this New World, we do as we please.

You've mentioned you want a place on Plymouth where you don't have to either join, pay, or hide. You have not explained why you are entitled to such a thing, or why we are compelled to provide it to you.

You could have atleast have left a sign. Besides i could have been a potential customer. Not prey.

You can ask yourself that why should i lick your ass when i was already bitten and driven into a corner with only my life left.
In wich after you didn't offer a beneficial solution for the both of us.

Ikpeip wrote:I think you will find that in this New World, we do as we please.

That's kind of obvious. That's exactly why i am discussing this, and i thankyou for taking the time to answer.

Well i am not doing this for myself, im doing this for the community, for anyone who wants to play on plymouth and not have to be tyrannised by the Tribe. I am quite happy on JT, and i don't feel the need to suddenly go back to play on Plymouth. There is nothing for me there anymore, you made sure of that.
So i am not asking for any special treatment.

Is there any wonder that Plymouth is now in Single Digits daily.

You're welcome to come to Roanoke as well, I'll give you a free backpack and metal tool of your choice. We almost have 2 and a half times the population as Plymouth now and they're probably going to get wiped in a couple of weeks anyways because they're the lowest populated server so that the dev's can start a fresh one with the new Gluttony system. :D
