First, a reminder to discuss moderation in the proper location: here.

We can't do a think about people sockpuppeting if we can't prove who is doing it. We're only going to use evidence we can find from the forums to determine this. It's too easy to doctor resources otherwise. Also, it's not really sockpuppeting if they're using one account to post with, even if it is an alt account and they're hiding behind it from another, older account. It's just become the catchphrase for anyone using more than one account to post to the forums with.

I have put a ban on the roninsword account as, if it is actually realak as confessed, it would be a ban evasion. We'll allow people to use alt accounts to communicate with the mods or jorb/loftar when banned (in this thread or via PM). However, if one is on a ban and wishes to post on the forum, it would be proper to ask to have the ban lifted, even if that person decides they want to use a different account. I did send a request to the other mods to discuss it as, so far, he hasn't caused any more issues than some of the other posters on the forum since the incident that caused the permaban to be enacted.

The point of my argument is that Jorb's wild tangents against Masonic dominance of the World Economy and his Idolization of German kings dethroned after killing millions, and who in his later years blamed the world's ills on the Satan of liberalism, Jews and World Zionism isn't exactly the sign of a successful game executive or forum administrator.

Over-reacting bursts against my defense of Democractic-Socialism is exactly why I'm posting in this mod complaint thread.

You can make the latter point without making the former politcal arguments. Keep the political stuff in its place and the moderation stuff here. This goes with all who are continuing this discussion. In case anyone has forgotten, we have a politics discussion thread on the forum. Sorry, I can't control jorb, and don't feel privileged enough to move his posts around.

So i was banned... for circumventing a ban i received because you... people? thought i was the chief. I tried to Pm and get this resolved before. I tried to explain that there are more folks who can make intelligent insightful posts than just chief. I'm not going to play into your homosexual chest hair tea party... I could care less. As for the complaint about the forum language being English you are just being ridiculous. It was obvious the insult in russian was just for flavor. So you know you have just created chief 2.0 and this one doesn't care about his forum accounts getting banned. Lube up boys its gonna get MESSY

If they thought it was anyone else they would of not banned you and said there wasn't enough proof for a ban (trust me there's a couple sockpuppets I've reported that they just wont ban), but because they thought you were the Chief it was an instant ban.

I wasn't the one that banned you before. I may recall the incident and details, but would have to search for it to be sure*. (Seems like jwhitehorn was on a ban for some reason and you were posting supporting the tribe. I don't recall any stated reason why anyone thought the account was an alt of jwhitehorn.) However, being found out that you are violating a ban with an alt account will always be an immediate ban. The only way to resolve this, ever, will be to post here or sending a PM requesting a removal.

*edit: after doing a bit more digging, it was jorb that put you on a permaban. It was another incident I was thinking of and one of your posts (on an account called "iamnotthechief") discussing being banned as an alt of jwhitehorn.

I have put it up to the other mods and jorb for consideration.
