He had 2 weeks worth of threads he wanted to reply to. They may not be current for you, but for him it was. What if some of us want to reply to his comments on these alleged old threads? Are we allowed? You banned him based on your prejudices, and you know it.

Exactly

So now it matters in which order we respond to threads? When I read the forums I start at the top and work my way down. Which means that the oldest threads would be at the top if I were to reply. It is kinda the natural flow of a forum. That ban on Jwhitehorn was crap and quite frankly I cannot believe you are trying to pass it off as anything other than kicking a dog to show it you have dominance over it.

Most of his posts were completely irrelevant; Potjeh linked one of the best examples of that. Because of how the forums work, all these posts show up at the top, which I find annoying, seeing as they're without relevant contents. It has nothing to do with who posted them, but yeah, damned if we do, damned if we don't, right?

That is bullspit. The entire post itself was about saying hello. Just like the thread directly next to it.
Why were those topics not just hinnomed? They should not have even been there for him to post in in the first place. So now you have banned him over you not doing your job. You didn't like him pointing that out I guess?

ETA:

If he did the same thing tomorrow it would be different. It was the first day he came back and he had a lot he wanted to say. It wasn't spam, it was adding to the threads. And I am guessing this forum has seen more activity today than it has in the last 2 weeks.

You say the ban is crap. And in "view new posts" I have 5 pages of topics (most of them with no new posts for at least 2 weeks) with replies from jwhitehorn. Replies which bring nothing new to the thread.

Skim through those 5 pages of posts and tell me they aren't spam and are worth reading.

I read every single one of them.

I've got plenty of time on my hands. Many of those posts are going to Hinnom*.

*edit: I'd delete them if jorb would let me.
I am a moderator. I moderate stuff. When I do, I write in this color.

I read every single one of them.

That doesn't give any relevance to them tho.
