Help today the ender client of salem and also the vanilla salem gave me the haven error. When i click more details it gives me this:

also vanilla salem says the client is too old.

Since the patch, I can't climb anything. Every attempt to climb up a wall produced a Haven Error... half the time I'm actually falling into the world right before it happens. I have not made a successful climb since the patch.

I've deleted Java files 5x; tried a fresh install from the game homepage but it failed because it's out of date. Sorry, but I live in a 'hilly' area... if I can't climb anymore... game over.

Please get this fixed. Grasping at straws... I swapped which hand the rope was in... makes no difference. I don't know what else to try. Game worked fine before patch.

Game is practically unplayable.

this is very suspicious. You launch the client using a loader, yet the client still complains it is out of date? Smells fishy.

I'm having the same problem. I've downloaded Java again and re-installed it. How ever I still get client is to old my codes are a bit different.

Oh, sorry. It seems the climbing resources need recompiling against the latest client version. I didn't notice, but fixing right now.

EDIT: I know I said in the system message that I restarted the server to fix it, but I realized it was actually a client-side bug. The new client fixes the problem.

Ah, this is actually a different error than the one I replied to earlier.

It's weird, though, because your clients indicate that they get an GL4bc OpenGL profile, which is defined as being GL2-compatible. I notice all of you are using nVidia cards, though. Have you updated your drivers recently? It might just be that they're buggy.

Yurp, nailed it boyo. Was on the beta drivers and rolled back to the last WHQL (327.23). Hope that sorts it for the other lads
