I have a main with a well developed hermit camp, but the character is on a friends account and although he no longer plays I am transitioning to my own account and have been developing this character. Primarily I would want to play ranger/fighter for the village, however I have plenty of resources from my hermit character to contribute to the building/crafting/farming side and I am very interested in having other players to interact with. Having been a hermit for a number of months and relocating multiple times due to raids I am more than ready to be part of a group.

EDIT: So I realize it looks like I might be a griefer with this 1-post account, can provide you guys with my main info in a less public medium. I practice paranoia.

I started Salem about a week ago and have got all basic stuff up and running but still learning. Salem is an awesome game but the lack of teamplay is killing it for me atm. Would love to join your village and build up something with a group.

As far as role, its hard to dedicate myself when I have not seen the breadth of Salem. In other games (lotro, eve, battlestar most relevant) I've taken on a variety of roles including leading a kinship, leading raids, just-another-body, scouting for ops, training, healing, tanking, support, grinding grinding grinding, and officership. The arc of ones character in this game seems unique to the fpses and mmos that I've played so I'd like to get into building things and exploration. The deeper combat would be fun to learn as it appears pretty novel, but I'm happy to leave it to more bloodthirsty folks at first. Hermiting has been a great demonstration of the mechanics, but working with a solid group to overcome challenges is what its all about. Not to mention a bit of good company would be nice.
