Why don't you just move to another place?

I highly recommend you to change your position - move to another place far away from your current one. You can find some ruins, even with mine and basic defenses, to start with. Then - collect some silver to buy and put personal claim. After you do this, if any more n00b-thieves will come to you - they'll leave crime scents. Then - call for some PK: these folks have fun chasing and slaying n00b-criminals (they may kill you too - just because they can, but it's not a big deal).

BTW: 7s for hay is too high at this moment, only Darwoth the Kinslayer may buy it for this price, but he's a REALLY busy man. I recommend 6s or even 5s per 1 hay.

just raised enough money to have part of my place claimed, just recently unlocked blacksmithing..... had no idea there were locks in this game xD guess i should have finished reading the guides.
