These prices came from the past. Today no one will sell iron for less than 70-75s i guess.

There are always some newbies in need for silver, but it's not a big deal. Long-time settlers will not sell iron cheap, especially when "huge demand" for it has been declared.

Think what you want, but it actually works on Jamestown.

May be because there's not many long-time settlers left here.

Market stalls owners may disagree with you. But even regardless to that - just check 3-4 pages of The Trade-Wind forum back to see what prices were when trading was alive. Now you're tellin' me that 50s is "standart", but i see not many traders with iron who want to sell it on that price.

This is not just about the sellers, you know. If it was up to the supplier, he would certainly prefer to sell at 75 silver like Dallane or perhaps even more. However, you gotta throw a buyer into that equation and there are limits to what people want to pay. I'm offering 40-50s and based on iron suppliers that I know and my own production from a few months back I know that it's a standard price because I've sold hundreds of bars at that price and I've talked to people who have sold bars at 40 silver each. But, I do agree with you. Of course it would be nice to have a price at 75 silver, but that's a 50% increase in price from 50 silver (and even higher from 40 silver). I can't justify that. I'm already offering 20% above the minimum price (40 silver). Hopefully, someone will be interested in supplying this iron because it's a pretty favourable deal when it comes down to it.
