WTB Dowsing Rod

My friends and I are in need of a dowsing rod that's better than a woo-woo wand. Anyone selling/making them? We don't need the highest quality one ever made, but just something better. Thanks.
PS: Can rods find nodes in forests?

last i heard, Sevenless has ore with 4.02 purity. maybe he has some old rods for sale.
