If you're trying to make leather snake skins can be found already dry in stumps and then limed and tanned immediately. Plus you might find a snake skull in a stump if you're really lucky and that's as good as currency

Posted: Wed Jul 10, 2013 5:41 amIm looking for leather to make a canoe not snake skins to make newbie cloths. I know all about drying and liming hides, but Im not near my camp to do so. Thanks anyways.... I called them the wrong name.
