It's actually very crucial to "noob" buildings, and later to farming. Someone willing to pay $$$ for silver might want to pick up some hay instead of collecting it? 5s each is old world pricing. I have a feeling silver is a LOT more valuable than people realize at the moment.

Because that's $.50 in silver or because people haven't gone out and farmed a few thousand silver yet? Don't know about anyone else, but I've almost gotten the money for a claim (if I can just get myself back to Boston without getting killed).

I mean I pieced together enough money for a claim and a sawbuck within about the first 6 hours of playing.
