I asked around for a trader on Roanoke and someone said they had an extra backpack and nails for my hovel. I was told to put the silver in the trade barrel and then get the items. There were no items. The trader seemed legit, discussing price and if I was trolling him. So, I have 0 silver and no items... He left with the cash.

So, is this a bug to report or was I scammed? I really can't see trading again until I have some idea.

Unfortunately, the way trading works it is very possible you got scammed...by another player. Sorry for your loss.
