You can travel to Boston if you're in the range of your homestead [8 tiles for a leanto, the whole area that p-claim covers if that's your homestead].
You can sell the Savage Charms for 35 silver each to the NPCs. You could sell the Old Logs for 10 silver each easily too, probably even more.
