I'm taking the Chief up on his offer and I'm going to get off the forum for 3 days. I'm calling his bluff.

I'm going to run a test. I'm going to stop posting on the forums for 3 days and see if the Chief and the Candy Tribe actually stop killing people. This means no attacking anybody without criminal scents. This means no YGM noob sport-hunts or anything. If I hear of any attacks or any killing by the Candy Gang, I'll be back on. I'm starting right now and I'll be monitoring my PM's

If I see they have stopped, I may not come back on. It's up to them.

I'm doing this for 3 reasons:

1. I want to see if they hold their word and can actually stop killing everyone. I want to have them take a breather and see what they've done to the server population in just 2 days.

2. I'm giving everybody else a chance to build defenses like mad over the Weekend when they have time.

3. I want to finish my secret base and just build like mad to do it.

4. I want to have the Candy Gang ranger the other raiders that used this as an excuse to to on the attack also.

5. I want the server to grow, and it's just dying right in front of my eyes. We were 15 to 20 people down form our average this last night and were below Jamestown all night long. We're back up a bit now, but I want to give everybody a warning shot for this slaughter and the weekend is always more populate.



I may be back. We'll see.

It is its own topic so there's not a lot of reason to merge it.

Is this not the exact same topic as "The Great Silencing?" The Great Silencing thread was about Claeyt needing to leave the forums to prevent genocide. This thread is about Claeyt leaving the forums (albeit temporarily) to prevent genocide.

The Great Silencing is upon us. More blood was shed then we originally felt as necessary but what we have fought for, and the poor noobs of Roanoke have died for may become a reality. A Claeyt-less forums did not come cheap, however, in the words of the "Little *****" the night is darkest before the dawn. The MM Tribe's word in serious negotiations are one of the few facts you can count on in this harsh new world we live in and we always pay our debts. So with that being said I declare the following:

MM Tribe has officially loaded our Braves onto the boats of Roanoke and will remain no less than 2,000 feet off-shore and shall enjoy a nice long weekend of a forum-less Claeyt.

Candy Gang has been invited to the MM-CandyCouncil Teepees once more to discuss re-establishing the ranger patrols.

Paymaster has STILL Frozen the Bank accounts of Claeyt for failure to pay 500 Silver. The people are still NOT required to pay back any loans to Claeyt and Trading with Claeyt will result in the loss of all your material goods (your base).

Claeyt Must consummate this deal by adding the image previously provided to him in his signature on Monday after the 3-day Cease-Fire has been evaluated.


I appreciate everybody's support in this matter and remember..... Together we can build a forum without Claeyt. I ask everybody to be Vigilant and keep a watchful eye for the next (3) days. The following Guards have been posted:
