So I had a problem with a less than neighbourly Russian. He destroyed my settlement even though i had nothing and after i rebuilt he would show up outside my gates and harrass me. I tell this story to someone in town and he suggests i join the tribe.

The Chief personally headed to the Russian's claim (apparently the trees whispered the direction) and that was the end of the "ShadowBeast" claim.

I got to keep his possessions (thanks SB) which were worth about 800 silver. After my inital tribe payment of 230 silver I recommend anyone to join the tribe.

The Tribe was the bomb at the point this thread was opened and still remains the bomb today. I suggest this thread closed when the Tribe is no longer the bomb.

Committing Crimes against other squatters could be considered an unwise action. Committing crimes against a Treaty payer is just down-right stupid. As the OP pointed out this did not end well for his attacker.

There are clearly some opposing camps in this game which just adds to the overall flavour of the game. I think someone in this thread called me an Alt of the Chief?
Thanks for the compliment but no i am not an alt. I have been playing a couple of months and if it wasn't for the Tribe I would probably have stopped playing as I was being harassed by my neighbour. If the guys who are against the tribe go around killing low level characters then I am even more sure I am glad to be paying the treaty.
