I was hanging out in Jamestown when i was watching movie. And i was logged out suddenly. And i couldn't log in again. It says New character. Did i die? If i did how come??? Is it possible? I didn't have a homestead but i have a claimed area. But it wasn't my homestead. Please someone explains me what happened!!!

Did you do crimes?

If so, then you deserve it.

If you commit crimes, you leave scents. Some of those scents can be used to summon you at your homestead and kill you.

When you do crimes, you leave scents. Scents can be used to be picked up by others, and gets some nice evidences used to summon you. Once summoned on your claim, you can mightaswell count youreself dead for sure.

A scent will go away soon, depending what crime you did. Larceny is for three days, and for murder is one month, I think. If I am wrong, I shall allow someone to enlighten me.

I think you have the murder scent and evidence mixed up. The evidence stays fresh for a good long while, but the scents is around 9 days, I believe.
