Jamestown nub HELP PLEASE!!!

Jamestown nub here been playing for almost two months and the hermit life has been going smoothly that is up until about 2 or so weeks ago. I unwisley setup camp pretty close to what I'm guessing is a pretty major river and now I'm being smothered by my camp being raided pretty much daily they seemed to step up once the tanning tub was built taking my limed hides every time . I'm going to say it's more than one person cause they do it very quickly and take everything and move my stuff everywhere. I proceeded to setup a pathetic defence of the stick fences and a torchpost to see if that may make them look elsewhere but not suprisingly they just hacked through it. Now it looks like I'm going to have to relocate. Is there an alliance looking for people I could join that may stop this? A town looking for a new member? Last resort the raider party see this and could try to encourage a new player to stay playing by not taking everything I work for?!?!?!? Also side question I've seen maps on sevenless guide is there a easy method to see where the hell I am. If I gotta move I'll need a spot not in raiderville so I can lead a simple life!

Build a stone wall and set up braziers. That would teach them. You could also collect their scents and give them to anyone interested in hunting them down like dogs.

Not skilled up enough for braziers. Now as for scents is there a skill I need for that was looking but couldn't find any trace. Guess I could wander more and skill up till I can build something that may challenge them. This game needs traps

In order to see scents you need to turn on Tracking. The best way to make sure you actually see the scents is to port to Boston, turn on Tracking and port back.

And creating one topic on this would have been enough. I've locked and hinnomed the other one.

They havent killed you yet, so my guess is they want you to move.

My advice; walk either north, west or south for atleast about an hour and then settle in the middle of the woods. Away from rivers or other "lines" of interest.

Crap! now how long will scents stick around?

SO I got one peice of evidence and waiting till I get home to look at the rest of the many scents left behind. I see how you can track after examining the scent but what does the evidence do. Also is there a group that enjoys tracking and dealing with griefers around Jamestown?? I'd make it worth your while but they stole my hide and therby source of income!!

I would advice you to cut your losses as quickly as possible then posting a map of your now former base. That way whoever wishes to play ranger can find your base and track for themselves.

Having a thread on the forums where the perpetrator can read it whats to stop them from killing you off next time?
