murder damage to hit point ratio

anyone know what it is? i know it is not 1 for 1 as i have killed folks with well over a hundred hp with one killing blow around 80, just killed a guy KOed on one of my claims that took 4 killing blows to finish off totalling around 250 murder damage :lol:

I'd just assumed one killing blow = death regardless of yb, interesting to know

Btw, are you sure you were facing the right direction for the first 3? The tribe has made that mistake before :P

no its based off of hp of the KOed guy like other attacks, just not sure how it works because an 80 damage killing blow will kill a guy with a lot more hp than that.

early on the server i had several ****** 50 stat fighters that when low on YB would frequently take 2+ killing blows to finish off their target.

Perhaps it halfs their total blood as hard hp and that's the number you must go over for the kill?
Meaning an 100 dmg kb would kill someone with 200 blood total

But that wouldn't really make sense for your 4x's guy

You can still do damage to someone with normal attacks while they are KO'd, try stabbing them a few times before the murder action next time lol

must of glanced past this part, yes i'm sure thats how i was counting the murder damage lol

would be interested to see if hitting them while KOed has an effect, though i doubt i will find many several hundred hp characters willing to do much testing on the matter :lol: :lol:

I could spawn a few alts right now if you want to do some testing with hits after KO. If you hit for enough maybe I'll drop dead :p
Also, bring a canoe and we can test shooting from a boat into another boat/stabbing in one boat onto another if you're side by side

spawning alts isnt going to test anything since they only have 5 hp. dont think one would murder damage that low at the bare minimum yb to do a murder move.

I think it is based on yellow bile
considering we murdered someone with ~200 blood and the KB was only for 39.something?

Never had to do a 2nd killing blow, my killing blow is about 100 dmg, but it also kills ppl with 250+ humours.

Few months ago, I killed a russian 250 stats guy with a 150 humoured alt, so I'm sure you don't need to do 2 killing blows (unless you miss, I missed one yesterday :p)
