effectively maybe 2.5x-2.8x stone walls to get to center. I like that they're building a third outer stone wall that will add absolutely nothing.

Why hire rangers when you can simply pay your Treaty?

On my first day playing I setup my first base near this town. The owner was not only friendly but helped me with a variety of questions as well as various materials and deals on stuff I needed.

Obviously I cannot be certain that they did not do the things you said, but from my experience they were completely friendly and non hostile. I am also a bit leery of you being "almost sure". There should have been scents left correct? Why not track them and verify who attacked you.

What I can be certain of is about a week or so ago a group of scrubs from the North arrived on a boat and bashed my wall and stole the first few iron bars I produced, plus a couple random items of no real value other then to someone starting out. They cleaned out all noob bases in the whole area as they also bashed a wall in a small side base I had built away from my main base. They also murdered my first character, but that was no fault other than my own as I should not have believed their offers to pay me back. Took them 3-4 hits took kill my 30 blood character, while I was alt tabbed none the less (LoL champion select doh).

Question is, has this town paid the Treaty?

I can tell you the story about this Town as iam the owner of this farm.
Leon D'ore and his friends was the original owner of this Town called something i cannot remember right now.
they were raided by russians long ago and everyone quit/retired.
a month or so after the raid me and a few friends was looking to expand our farming and came along and asked Leon if we could rebuild the Town as walls/fields etc was already there and all i had to do was put up some infrastructure to get going so we saved alot of time and Everything was up running in 2 days.
By taking over a Shell city u get benifits like saving time leveling ground/building walls but you also get negatives like being stuck with the layout even if u don't like it.
The only walls we really built was the inner walls for the braziers/few gates.
The Town is used for Heavy cotton and iron production and has nothing of value and therefor we did not see any Point in wasting time rebuilding all walls etc to a stronghold.
If anyone raid the Town have fun and goodluck
We never left, We just lay low and the lower we lay we stay connected and make dough.
