How to deal with in-town griefers?

So in Jamestown, there is this real classy guy who though it would be...I don't know, funny, maybe?...to put a big circle of compost bins around the warp/spawn point. Kinda funny, and definitely effective, but isn't it kind of griefing? I mean, in the wilderness this stuff could fly, I suppose, but in the starting town? It seems...juvenile. Almost like it shouldn't be allowed. I could be a total idiot, but is there anything that can be done about this?

Procne said in one of the announcements threads that you can destroy player placed items without crimes inside the town claims. Perhaps someone with a raider character can test this. Could be a new change to stop that kind of griefing and Jorbtar just thought it would be funny to let us figure it out on our own?

Or maybe Procne doesn't know what he's talking about. Worth a try though.

Don't worry. Darwoth will stop this compost bin spam and start chasing girls IRL when he enters the puberty

I tried to destroy the compost bins today - it didn't work.
But I am pretty sure that I was able to destroy campfires in Boston 2 months ago or so - someone spammed them around town and I could simply nuke them without turning criminal acts on. I didn't even have tresspassing or waste skills anyway
