pffffff so tired of beeing robbed almost every day on every servers.......i think i ll just quit this game because its really too slow to get strong enough to defend, almost impossible because of thieves and raiders in fact and no justice because the few strong guys dont worry at all(actually i don t think anybody will get strong enough to defend himself from the maybe 100 first players who where so few that they didn t meet in wild before they got strong enough) ..... so ennoying, frustrating and getting on my nerves , make me want to kill every pilgrim i meet .....but i cant just because i can t get stronger because of thieves ...... vicious circle ........so if anybody knows a safe place please don t tell it anybody keep it secret !!!!!!

I've been perfectly safe so far.

Safest place in salem atm is the forums, where no one is ganked, no one is summoned and raid mechanics are near perfect

On the serious side, find a solid town to join. It takes some work, and there's no guarantees that you won't have issues, but this isn't a game for the weak of spirit and even more so if you want to do it alone.

Even spamming walls and braziers won't keep you safe, but it'll keep the lowbie and wannabe out.

If you want to learn the game etc without a town i would focus on a peacefull place with not to many around, focus on getting 1 wall up, does not have to be a stone wall but atleast a wall so they can't just walk in,
get a good income, might be iron/food/crickets/even hay or whatever that sells good or someone buys alot and save some money/seeds whatever u need to rebuild fast on a alt/use money you dont really use or need to buy food and boost ur humors, or boost your alt abit and remember you will get killed sooner or later again, so getting a few skills/humors up on a alt and some money/equipment saved up will help you alot when it happens.
When you are ready to move on join a town or build a "real base"
