Today we have yet another large class action lawsuit! This time against a Most Wanted member in the Salem Community who goes by "Procne"!
The Consumers of Salem vs. Procne is now in Session!
The Allegation
The Consumers and Suppliers of Salem have made the following claims against Procne and his supposed "Boston Harbor Trading Company":
*Procne has given away their base locations (Wounded Knee)
*Procne has given away the names of his Board Suppliers "Cruniac"
*Procne has changed the prices advertised in his thread in order to bait and switch his customers
*Procne has supplied other members of the Most Wanted list with material goods.
The Plaintiff
The Plaintiff in this case are the people of Salem. Given that the majority of the people of Salem are Treaty Paying individuals in good standing the Tribe felt that it was justified that they inject themselves into the trading scams and ponzi schemes that were being run by Mr. Procne.
The Defendant
The Defendant in this case has been known to advocate AGAINST the treaty. In addition to this the Tribe has first-hand knowledge that Procne was responsible for the death and destruction of over (6) people and players who have been found associating with him. Also, to make matters worse, during the Trial and sentencing Procne was found spamming alts and using Alt-Abuse tactics over and over in an attempt to save his base.
The Informant
What procne did not know is that there was an informant in his base. One who was prepared to testify against him and one who witnessed each and every one of his actions since the day he laid down his first field. Who you ask? Why none other than Mr. Birch!
The Verdict
In the case of The Consumers of Salem vs. Procne I, Judge PeePooKaKa find the defendant GUILTY on:
(1,382) Counts of Underpaying Suppliers for their goods.
(1,189) Counts of overcharging the Salem public for these goods.
(6) Counts of revealing the location of his suppliers.
(3) Counts of revealing the names of his suppliers.
(5) Counts of Alt Abuse spamming alts to block his base.
(1) Count of failing to pay the Treaty
(1) Count of being a carebear.
As such the Court hereby orders the removal of his establishment. The one that he has been so proud of:
Procne wrote:My camp was created before you even started your killing spree in scalp thread.
The court also orders all the goods from the Boston Harbor Trading Company to be delivered to the Tribe.
The Bounty on Procne's head remains and all members of Salem are encouraged to be vigilant for his new location. Any remaining Procne suppliers are encouraged to contact the Tribe ASAP. Any suppliers of Procne who contact the Tribe in the next 24 hours will have their sins of dealing with him washed away and the Tribe will open FAIR negotiations with these disadvantaged traders who have been abused for so long by their merchant overlord.
This Court is now adjourned.
