Mushibag vs MM Tribe - Treaty? No Thank You

So, last night I log on to a big suprise, my location had been discovered by none other than Dragoth Lovecraft (Realak of the MM tribe)! But there was a silver lining, Dragoth Lovecraft had been KO'd outside my gates by brazier fire. Well, knowing my time on this earth is limited anyway, I decide to do my best to rid the world of this foul creature. As I approached, 6 more injuns sprang from their hiding places, and I quickly retreated to think of a game plan. At this point, the Chief offered me a way out. "Pay the treaty, and send Realak home." I think not sir. I am not one to bend over for a tyrant. I left for the New World in search of freedom and refuse to be extorted, especially by The Slayer of Newbs and his posse of hoodlums.

After a bit of a stalemate when I extended my pclaim over them, they eventually moved back off of my claim. With the blood-lust coursing through my body, I made my way closer to the body, and when the moment presented itself, I lept into action, quickly dealing a deadly blow to Dragoth Lovecraft. As my death blow landed, the fearsome Mean Mike McCoy (AKA PaymasterPaul, AKA Master of Candyland) landed a stomp of fury, followed immediately by a prick of his blade. Before I could recover from the stomp, I found myself surrounded by injuns, and quickly made my peace with dying. Just as the situation seemed hopeless, I remembered the games we'd played with the Tribe at "Blame PmP" and decided to test their reaction time. Just then, I saw an opening and darted between the Chief and his braves. After several minutes of bobbing and weaving through injuns and trees, I managed to outwit these Natives when I noticed the brave who was supposed to be guarding my north gate was not at his post, and after some quick maneuvering, I darted back inside. I let out a sigh of relief, followed quickly by the realization that I was still alone, against 6 fearsome injuns. Luckily one of the most fearsome among them, the infamous killertomas, was not there. I've heard of his pro combat experience, and shuddered to think what would happen if he'd been around. But I had managed to do the deed, Dragoth Lovecraft, AKA Realak the ban evader, had perished.

At this point, the Chief and his braves decided to enclose my claim with their own pclaims. They had also constructed some sort of makeshift fence on the northern claim.

As I noticed this, I began to sink all of the silver I had into expanding my claim as much as possible.
As the hours dragged on, I was frantically running all over my claim, refilling braziers, and repairing/rebuilding walls with my crafting character, because Mushibag is a cold blooded killing machine, without any other skills. Being on a crafting character, one generally does not want to have a confrontation with Chief PeePooKaka, and it was indeed daunting as he disrupted my repairs.

Image

This was no easy task, mind you, I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, repairing and rebuilding each time they moved out of brazier range. They were attacking from the north as well as the south, making my job extremely difficult. As the Tribe began to realize my superior defensive abilities, they began a new tactic. They had implemented Operation Drain Teh Braziers. Now this did not come as a shock to me, but it was a bit disturbing, as I was beginning to run out of coal. They would send in the injuns in waves, triggering the braziers, then running away, only to return once the braziers had stopped smoking. All the while, between repairs, I was gluttoning my fighter in preparation of a final battle.
It was just before the 7th hour of the seige that my help finally arrived. Fellow enemy of the Tribe and member of the MM Tribe Most Wanted List, Francisco Vasquez de Coronado had come to help me fight off the fearsome injuns.

At this point, even the honorable Jordan Coles even made an appearance on the side of the Chief and his many braves. Once the odds were no longer in their favor (5 braves, 1 Chief, and Jordan Coles vs 2 fugitives), they realized that they had in fact been defeated, and made a hasty retreat. And thus ended the 7 hour seige on Mushiville by the MM Tribe.

I expect nothing to change. It took me approx 15 minutes to level a base. Now it will take me 150 minutes. Two and a half hours to enforce the Treaty is still reasonable IMO.

At the time of their departure, the damage sustained was quite insignificant, as long as you don't factor in the multiple gates that I had replaced during the seige.

I'd like to thank the original architect of this base in it's early stages, which was a great foundation and suitable place for me to set up my reinforcements. I also have to give a lot of credit to my 1/2 tile offset outter walls, which drove the injuns to attack my gates, which are much more accessible for repairs and rebuilding. Also, a big thanks to Francisco Vasquez de Coronado, who was the sole person to respond to my pleas for help when the situation appeared hopeless.

TL;DR - You have the tools in your belt to fend off these tyrants. Use them, and do not be afraid of death, but rather embrace it, for it is what distinguishes us from the lime pits and stone quarries. You do not have to give in to the Chief and his Treaty!

Stand up for your FREEDOM!!!

P.S. Sorry for the lack of action pics, my computer sucks, so I have to choose my screenshots wisely.

So you are telling me you refused to pay the treaty, survived, AND killed one of the midgets? Remarkable.

So what happens when you start rampaging and killing treaty payers, who will protect them or get their stuff back? Yes, thats right people...you waste your silvers for nothing, defend yourselves and stand up against the midgets. You came to the New World for FREEDOM!

***** the treaty.

Im starting to worry the Chief might not be able to enforce his laws after seeing this spectacle. What is a treaty payer to do?

Hurray to Mushi!!! And an extra hurray to Francisco Vasquez de Coronado! It's good to see the tribe is not as strong as they make themselves seem.
