Roomate, or raid?

So I logged in to find a sled, five chests, within such 9 metal bars and a whole slew of items were stolen. A lean-to destroyed, but no physical damage other then that. There are no scents that I can see, no holes in the fence, no work-benches or anything destroyed. Just missing items. Could this mean someone with higher biles then my own broke into my home, stole my items, and repaired the wall on his way out? Or is this the work of my friend? I also have 1 brazier on the plot near where the chests were stolen, and it still has charcoal inside and does not appear to have been lit. My friend claims to know nothing and appears to be equally mad as well.

Your friend is an ******* and you should kill his lying ass before he kills your *******.

If there were no scents left, then it was someone who has permissions on your claim. If you "friend" is the only other person who has permissions, then he is without a doubt the one who took the stuff, and is just pretending to be as upset as you are.

Well, he doesn't even have locksmithing. And my chests were behind a locked gate which he does not have access to. He has also rebuilt his lean-to and is attempting to 'rebuild' I guess you could say. Is it possible I could have been raided and they just rebuilt the segment of the simple wood fence I have and I can't see the scents due to my biles which are all below 26?

Edit: Just realized they destroyed / stole my carpenters bench as well. I'm not sure how the crime system really works in Salem but my bile levels do affect the scents I can and can't see correct?

humors do not effect your ability to see scents. your friend also doesn't need locksmith to open a gate. you have to destroy them to get whats inside.

Walk away and back a few times to reload the map with tracking is turned on. if you see no scents then its your friend.

so finding scents doesn't require some special skill, like Ranging in H&H? hmm..

Besides, if hes a room mate, wouldn't he have been able to simply use your computer and unlock/unload things to himself from your account?

Not a literal roommate, I meant within the game.

might want to check for scents a few times and kill him for good measure.
