The Death Of The Lumberwood Rangers and My Personal Prison
Posted: Mon Oct 22, 2012 9:17 pmSo as I assume many of you know the Lumberwood Rangers made up of Coonman, Yasso and others were killed a while ago in their village near Boston. Well since then they've changed locations and I was taken in by them to help build and grow my character. All was going well.
One day, Vigilance arrived at our doorstep. Vigilance and I are friends from Haven and though we may be in opposite factions now I promised that I wouldn't take part in raiding/fighting him or Gunnar. Coonman decided to go outside after calling Gunnar to help 2v1 Vigilance at the gates (Not knowing that Vig lived with him) and he was killed. A few days later some scents were left around the area by Yasso and Tim and Vig/Gunnar returned again. This time KOing Coonman's new reincarnation a few times so scents were left by both parties. I suppose it became a kill them before they kill us scenario because last night they broke down the gate, broke both Tim and Yasso's lean-to's and summon killed them at their base.
This is no doubt a big loss for the Rangers but the problem gets more complicated from here. Since Yasso was the p claim owner, his rights were reset upon death. Myself being the only person left with a leanto inside, was left unable to log in where I'd logged out on the claim. I did however get the option to log on at my leanto but when I did this I was given the tresspass debuff to move off of the claim. I managed to get Yasso to log on and to give me full permissions again but he derped on his reincarnating process so he is no where near the camp. He is unlikely to make the walk back to the base due to post-death butthurt. I was given full permissions and was able to go back onto the claim regardless. I could take anything, move anything, use anything. I had no crime debuff and braziers didn't fire. I was standing when suddenly I got a crime debuff (no black skills and no criminal acts on) and my black bile instantly went from 20+ to 0. I went straight down.
Now I am forever KO'd (possibly will be let go to my leanto in 24 hours but since it's on the claim I'll just be KO'd again.)
