Why was this done in green text? No one was breaking any rules, and no one was punished, so why the moderator green text? Looks to me like nothing less than a moderator trying to use his position to try to give his opinion more weight.

Or you're just paranoid and should stop worrying about Dallane not playing and enjoy the game yourself.

I'm confused. Is it an official rule from the moderators that we can't point out Dallane doesn't play the game? Or are we suppose to realize that this is just Coles doing what he does again and we should take it like a grain of salt?

Well, if he would have sent you a PM instead in response to your report, you would have just argued indefinitely with him through PMs.

Stop QQing about people who don't play but still post. It's not needed and if you're going to do that for everyone you'll have a lot of people to complain about atm. Many people are away from the game but still reading until updates come around and they are free to do this and post their opinions of the game however they like. You'll save yourself a lot of frustration if you just set those people to ignore on your list.

Not really, I have people on my ignore list and I still have to constantly read everything they post because of people quoting them. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of the ignore list...

Again... is this some kind of rule or just Coles' Helpful Tip to a Better Forum Enjoyment? It is important to realize that as with anything one should always "Consider the Source". When there is a player constantly bashing a game he never succeeded in, never played competitvely, and doesn't play today it is important for new players to know this. If a new player showed up and saw Dallane's posts and post counts (thanks to his unrestricted *****) they might think his opinion matters. Once they realize that he doesn't play they can have their concerns about his opinion slightly mitigated. Attempting to prohibit the sharing of information about somebody that is very relevant to the legitimacy of their opinion should not be a priority on these forums.

What if moderators decided to make people stop talking about noobs that I have killed or scalps that I have collected? Effectively erasing the brutal truth that many died on our rise to the top. Surely it gets just as old to hear about all the scalps off the boston claim but each and every time it is brought up it is relevant to the topic to present the new viewers with the very real fact that the event did indeed happen. Dallane quit and no longer plays, So did Coles. Can they have an opinion.... Sure. Does the opinion of quitters matter? That is up to the reader to determine.
