Well, yeah, sure. A bug is really only a big deal when it has the potential for extremely swingy, volatile and/or negative behaviors and interactions for affected players. This bug doesn't affect anyone negatively.


It affects everyone who doesn't have access to it, negatively because they have slower relative humor progression and less buying power compared to the fictive scenario where noone has access to it. A solution would be to automatically include the option (ctrl+o) to get 1x1 fields in the vanilla client. The only negative aspect of that solution would be that Loftar would lose max 30 minutes of his time implementing that option?

On the other hand, the issues it rises are small in comparison to other issues, such as the low population.

yea i did report this bug back in like October ? just after i first started playing.

Also, Stacking fields, and actually being able to click on them all effectively is what makes the 1x1 huge advantages.

I used field stacking way before i knew 1x1 mods existed (to save space) Oh but the fun and time wasted i had clicking on the correct fields.

Actually no. I don't have this client mod and when I walked near some bug abused fields, my game got super lagged and I had to leave. Lagged again when I went back to see if the fields caused the lag. So... yeah, this bug is no available to me to use.

There is this side to bug abuse of "overlapping fields" not alot of people know, were using a 1x1 mod client, you will get no lag in area's with vast amounts of over lapping fields.

However, people without the mod, there clients overload from the graphics / glitching, and can even be forced into a crash loop and lose access to the character until they either get the 1x1 mod for themselves or the fields are nuked / removed.

I have seen first hand people use this kind of tactic for defenses around there bases, so only people who use the 1x1 modded client can get close to the borders of there claim. Yes i do have the 1x1 modded, however i still never over lap fields. I have the mod for protection purposes only in my travels to avoid getting stuck by people using the overlapping field abuse as a defense.

EDIT: Its stuff like this which makes the vanilla client unplayable on a worse scale than the devs care to admit, they brush it away like its nothing when infact there own client is unplayable on all levels due to bugs including the overlapping field side crashing bug abuse which goes unmentioned. But remember, Its not a priority, and no one is effected.

This means, its not getting fixed, and you "MUST" use a modded client to play the game without risk of getting stuck, because yea the vanilla client lol. What a joke. Might as not even have a vanilla launch client on your website, and put a direct link to enders client with how pathetic and stupid it is.

Want me to upload a screenshot of my current base ? were you can see all my fields clear as day in 1x1 format, but made perfectly and no overlapping ?

I wish I wasn't dead and could show you my 300~ fields and treewall of grand maple trees that lags you and crush with all those falling leaves and super crops on the screen.

I've only seen a dev talking so highly of the bugs in his game and supports them to be used as competitively : Quake 1 Rocket Jumping, yeah it was a bug.

Yes what you said will most likely crash most players, but those who have the correctly modded clients will not crash.

EDIT: Yes if you tried to approach this base you mentioned on the vanilla client, or enders base client, you would insta crash / lag out.

Yes i use enders client, but it is a extra modded version of enders client.

So yea, going back to Jorb, Even enders Base client cannot counter these bug abuse, you need a further modded, modded client.

No this bug just effects the whole player base using your vanilla client, and enders base client, but who gives a ***** right ? Because the important 1337's and HnH vets have the extended modded version of enders, and as long as teh prohs are appy, its all gravy eh ?



EDIT: Information for new players : If you are randomly walking around, then get a black screen of death, and seem you cannot relog in to that character (Been mentioned in the bugs a few times im sure and in irc chat, but most are ignored or told its the players PC problem and not the game) This is the reason. Just want to make that clear now. Its from bug abuse of over-lapping fields. Nothing more, nothing less.

Before Gallows Hill was destroyed, I did not use 1x1 farm tiles and everybody around me did. I never lagged or crash on either default client or enders. Some members did experience lag there regardless though, but I'm more inclined to blame that on the obscene amount of objects (1000s of wall segments, braziers, ovens, smelters, etc) and their ****** computers than the 1x1 farm tiles.

Now, if you use antialiasing on your GPU then there would obviously be more stuff to AA if you didn't use 1x1 farm tiles. But still, I'm going to blame that on operator error not jorb/loftar/1x1farm tiles.

This is all from personal experience, so I'm not just talking out of my ass like you tend to do more often than not.

My game goes to 1-3 FPS around those fields and is virtually unplayable. I left the area immediately and fear crashing around them and never being able to log in again.
