On request, all users may ask that personal pictures or information of them or their family may not be posted and/or removed. This is enforced for all users and we do our best to understand the situation. This has primarily been used by forumites but mods may request it as well.

So I can make fun of the fact that his singing sucks. As long as I do not link to the site of said music? IF of course this is the same girl err guy?

Of course. Rules are not in place to disrupt conversation but to protect individuals to the extent that we can and to form as much cohesion as we can within a community.

If Chief includes a picture of his face on the next version of the Treaty map that we distribute, does this give us rights to demand any links to it posted on these forums?

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking to be honest?

Honestly, the more I think about it. I am not sure you could enforce a rule about posting public pics or links. When you put yourself out on the internet and it becomes public it is then open for anyone to use.And I would like to see the actual rule stating that PUBLIC pic can not be used. IF that is the case then posting of any pic ANY pic would be off limits including gifs of any kind.

He wants to know if he can exploit this rule to get any future leaked Plymouth maps taken down if they put the Chiefs face on them.

It's something taken on a case by case basis as best as we can. By default, it's assumed that you don't mind having pictures of yourself posted around, because yes, this is the internet. Things like home address and phone number and stuff are never allowed though. Public pictures and information may be viewed elsewhere, but in an attempt to respect the wishes of the user, we still wouldn't allow links or posting of them here.

Again it was not a picture of Coles. So please take back my board warning.

Thanks.

So in other words it is a made up rule that has just came to be. I would bet if it was not a mad it would of been made fun of and Coles would have been at the top of the list taking jabs. Let's be honest I highly doubt Jordan is going to get much respect as in my opinion he has not earned any. At best the outcome will be that he got a taste of his own medicine and now sees what it is like, AND learns from it (that is asking a lot I know) and remembers this the next time he decides to be a douche to someone else just because he can be. Also in my opinion I think by making up rules as you go is treading some dangerous waters here. As it stands this "rule" Has not been made up until now and therefore in my opinion any attempts at making it stick is truly invalid.
