The actions you propose may soothe your conscience Colesie, but your soul is forever lost...

I'm not sure how you're having such a hard time coming up with money. My profile page says I started in mid December as well, and I had no problem coming up with the money to establish a homestead, expand it to a nice size for a newbie, and pay the treaty payment. I even have a couple hundred extra silver on me after buying a saber and a backpack and nails from one of the MM tribe stalls.

Maybe it helps that I spent a week on the Reservation before I started out. I was able to use the sawbuck and other stuff there instead of waiting until I had the ability to buy the materials and make them myself, so my skills went up fast. Don't try cricket teams. Savage Charms are okay but the easiest way to get money for me is hides. Rabbits are easier to kill than crickets and you can pick them up and butcher them later. The dried hides sell for 4 silver. And if you get to where you can kill beavers, which I can do now, you can use the brain on a rabbit skin and make leather which sells for 8, I think, and sell the dry beaver hide for 12 too. And if you have a smelting operation, they like it if you pay in iron bars and nails, even easier than hunting.

We already pay tax to jorb & loftar in the form of claim upkeep. There is no reason to support double taxation by giving in to the Chief & his stupid treaty, regardless of how easy it is to make money. I think the Chief is just pissed that Bait & Dallane aren't hunting crickets for him anymore, and now he's trying to get the rest of the server to do it for him.

Jorb and Loftar claim upkeep is for updates. Treaty Payments are for protection.

These are two very different payments for two very different things.

This is as silly as saying you don't want to pay for gas in your car because you already paid for an oil change this week.

Yeah, and you're just setting everyone up to be threatened like you did Coles. You threatened to remove his treaty rights if he didn't prove himself to you. How long before you start doing that to everyone else?

Ah.... poor little Mushibag. It pains me to see such uninformed and inaccurate information fall upon your ears. Coles was only in danger because he asked to do the Vision Quest but any Brave who fails a Vision Quest is executed. Since Coles had already made his treaty payment this created a loophole in our system where Coles failed his VQ but then we couldn't execute him because he had a treaty payment in effect.

Since we have changed the system so any person who begins a VQ is refunded their Treaty payment prior to starting. This way we can once again execute the Braves who fail to complete..

Yes, everyone knows the information gotten from you is always 100% accurate.

I made the sarcasm blue, for Mereni.

I changed the color back for you. You are apparently still learning the use of sarcasm. When you state facts it is not sarcasm.
