People complain about the lack of people on this server yet feel it is a god given right to rip people off and loot people that have hardly of anything of value to you

To link this with a thread the one where Claeyt says about how people giving salem a bad name on the forum by saying bad stuff about it constantly <--- It's not just that which kills the game it's the community itself like i said, They feel it is their right to kill, murder, loot, steal, insult <-- anyone that is new and because of that the rare time you get 1-2 people on this server they get treated like complete and utter ****, so they leave

This game has such a low population because of this, the tribe had something right, the whole idea and what they say it is for was a good idea, protect the noobs! the game needs it

Sadly the tribe is out for themselves so if we just had a real group that protected noobs then it would be great

And don't say you do claeyt because I doubt you would give a damn if someone raided your noob friendly places and killed everyone

i'm fine with it mate, i have been scammed, locked in a cage for a few days, murdered <--- and it's in the past

But let's be honest i want more people on this server and i'm not saying give them an easy life but why do we have to focus all the noobs? can't we allow the population to grow a bit and target the mindless ***** bags at least a few weeks into the game? if they get all QQ then they do not deserve to play but have some respect for new players, Salem hardly has a player base at the moment

I would care a lot if all the noobs were raided and killed. Noob protections have been pretty good over the last couple months.

The Tribe killed noobs for sport for a long time on Plymouth as you can see in links like THIS. I think they've learned their lesson tho. The Chief has helped plenty of new players get started lately. They've been much better about it since the population started to drop.

As for the crap trolling about Salem the game, yeah, I've been chasing it down after a new player I knew and helped, quit because of it. I don't mind the spy posting or in game trolling stuff. Barrel thieves are part of the game also and are a lot of fun to hunt down. We've had plenty of Thief Traders as well, they're also part of the game. Pras.

There is a group that brings Justice to the game and doesn't charge for it. They're called 'The Candy Gang' down here on Roanoke and they've made a very polite and safe server.

Really hard to tell the difference in this game unless you spend a small time reading the forums and you can tell a few people are nothing but acts *Chief* for example
