Moderation Complaints Megathread v.2.0

Good evening,

The moderation's attempts to maintain a perception of objectivity have been waning for some time - I suspect due to the decreased activity from the developers. The threadwas locked improperly, and lazily - if you're going to post a reason for the lock as a moderator, mod-text it.

Belittling the thread because it is trying to "collect pretend money from invisible bodies" is an odd tactic. You're scolding someone for trying to collect in-game currency from players, on the forums of that game? If you're sick of Salem that's fine, just shuffle off and go afflict some other community.

Other examples of sub-par moderation recently:
-Moderator ignored a legitimate report, then broke the "English-Only" rule himself. The report had to be resubmitted and addressed by a separate moderator
-Political threats of a ban (note lack of mod-text)
-Combination of moderation warnings and personal attacks
-Trolling "Help!"
-Moderation actions to settle personal disputes

This is not a Treaty. This is not a monthly fee. This is not even on the same server. Please unlock the thread and stop Coles from moderating things if he isnt' going to read them.

Forcing people to put two different services with two different prices on 3 different servers with a different list of benefits to each in ONE thread would be as dumb as regulating somebody who has two trade threads on two servers with different items on each. It would only confuse people to merge them and is a perfect example of unnecessary moderation.

The lock itself contained an insult to the original poster. If you demand to receive respect and courtesy, you ought to give it yourself.
