You are supposed to be checking for a picture of my hermitage, and some screen shots where Dallane blacks out 'hidden features' in his client.

yep, so did everybody else when it became common knowledge.

but you are intentionally missing the point as well, which is once again that at the time virtually nobody knew about it, it was not clear whether it was legal, and as such it was hidden to keep it secret.

in every other game on the planet radar tracking other players is considered a hack when not part of the official client, and it is all the more dubious when the overwhelming majority of the playerbase does not have it. you must be from uranus.

This is not every other game on the planet...This is Seatribe. The developer releasing the client source to the public isn't enough of an official statement for you?

No, I just looked in the res folder and then in the radar. As for it being illegal, when there's multiple clients with any sort of radar out, on the official forums, with no action being taken and the devs even saying they don't care about custom clients since they hate doing UI's, it seems ridiculous to think it'd be somehow magically wrong to add another line to the radar for players when it was kosher without that line in.

Maybe we do things different on Uranus.

(about the playerbase being unaware of it, i gave/give anyone who asks in irc any of the radar lines they ask for, even last world)

guess i will have the resident programmer in our guild develop a speedhack so i can run at 300 miles an hour and swing 2 or 3x as fast then while regenning humors at 50 points a tick since that must be ok as well

ONCE AGAIN FOR THOSE TO STUPID TO COMPREHEND:

it does not matter it is now common + "legal" it matters that you attempted to hide it, i mention this merely to show where the mindset of your group is, which is cheat/sploit if you can get away with it.

sort of like the whole brazier thing that was largely ignored earlier in the thread.

Actually, since he raided BTK this guy just stumbles around tripping over his own two feet. He can't help but look like a total *******....(Don't tell him I said so though, he might throw me across the room.)
