It is working as intended. The stone hedge fence are not supposed to be top tier walls, so they should be bashable by one person. 5 people each break 1 wall and braziers wont fire...You need more walls ;p

edit: it has already been said that there will be stronger walls implemented at some point before release...

Because people bashing on walls while defenses don't fire is working as intended (regardless of the #).

Unfortunately, it is working as intended. I think it is more of a balancing issue than a bug.

sorry to break your heart, but i think we did discuss this quite a while ago with devs present.
and yeah, its probably a balancing issue. devs are aware of this or they were not listening(reading) then.

Actually they did it to protect noobs from getting pwned but the fact remains the way they work currently needs to be changed.

Worst mechanic ever! I still can't figure out either why braziers go to 1% when a claim is under attack without even being hit by people.
