If my alt is able to move around on claim, does that mean he hasnt taken it over yet via the town bell option??

You can move as much as you want on an "ennemy" town claim. You just can't log out or do anything else without crime on and or trial by fire.

Btw, as long as your claim stone is up, it means he hasn't destroyed it via town options. But I still recommend to avoid porting anyone here. And your original claim is still yours while your claim stone is up, even with that town bell over it. That's how worked Darwoth's Forest.

Extend your personal claim over a fenced off area so you got the right to break the fence.
Then leave off the town claim either clear inventory and port to Boston or start walking.

But knowing Darwoth he will probably take the claim away (for quite a bit of silver) and trap you.
