Well that was the reason you refused to ban/warn him after you did it to others myself included

Entire server is getting shut down.

viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7433

32 angry players. 3-5 who have logged off in preparation. And Potjeh determines its not HoB worthy? *****.

And yet loftar, too afraid to make Development Updates himself on the forum, is happy to be relieved of the responsibility when he sits by and allows CHIEF to be the spokesperson for Salem Development.

Now, I hope loftar understands why reasonable people in this community would prefer to see a post by loftar if there are things he would like communicated.

You clearly don't get those as communicating with the community is something the developers have lumped into the "Nice things" category.. So its either a post by me or nothing. Which would you prefer?

I think you are great for Salem, Chief, don't get me wrong. I am a secret admirer of your work. But I would prefer that you post nothing related to jorbtar's development thoughts

Funny. When jorb or loftar have something to say about server status or updates, they post here. Jamestown is still up and running. Trash post looks like trash to me.

The point of the thread is not if Jamestown is or is not being shut down. The point of the thread was the 40ish players who were notified of it, the dozen or so that logged off because of it and the remaining dozen who spent their morning arguing about it. That thread single-handedly involved more players and more time invested by Jamestown Salem players than everything posted on the HoB over the last (2) weeks combined.

It is also worth mentioning that when Claeyt made some trash post about a brotherhood that doesn't exist and posting BOUNTIES for players who were later killed (like Coles) that didn't exist his post was not hinnom'd. Jamestown may or may not be shut down. Claeyts brotherhood and bounty have been PROVEN to be false and ***** (his debt is still owed on the Coles kill) but that is not the point of HoB or the mods to determine the legitimacy of the claims, only that there are in fact claims and that players are in fact effected by the claims. If Jamestown server-wide messages and shut down is a trash post (because the shutdown itself isn't happening) then Claeyts brotherhood and bounties must also be hinnom'd for they didn't happen either.

Yeah. Think we can keep that crap shut down. Be glad you don't get a ban for trolling Help.
