Chief, did you miss alot of shots too and just showed the hits in the video? Asking because from the video it would make it seem like the gun is incredibly accurate - not talking about the people walking away from you in a straight line I guess that is easy but some of the shots are people walking almost sideways from you right?

When I read about the gun update I was not too worried as I figured I could avoid getting shot by quickly walking perpendicular to the shooter when I see them start to aim. However this video has gotten me worried about the effect of such evasive maneuvers.

P.S. Why are those people who cant get into town in combat mode in the first place? From hunting small game or did you tag them somehow without already killing them in one shot?

He clearly tagged them prior with stomp. You can actually see him tag a few people in the video.

we don't want people getting a feel for the game before getting killed by some bored high level player.

I'm pretty sure getting killed by another player (probably one who way outclasses you in either level or experience, or both) is an essential part of getting a feel for this game. Lucky most of them were newbies and had little to lose yet. The chief is performing a public service here.

i keep forgetting how jorbtar get money from this game- do they rely on people purchasing silver to buy stall items? or does paradox actually give them a check.

See the first would be hindered due to chief's wonton killing sprees and the second gives no sh*ts if chief kills jorb in game

but anywho- i don't promote murder unless it's a time of war, and since i don't see any massive conflicts i can't say i really care either

If I had to guess I would assume its a little bit of both, regardless I doubt the game will be deemed a success if the amount of active unique players stagnates, declines or does not increase over time at least to some extent. I am surprised nobody else finds it funny that what is likely the most prominent faction at this time and possibly one of the most well known players spends his time recording himself killing hapless noobs outside Boston.

This would be like some high level League of Legends player putting together a montage of a bunch of pentakills but the only caveat is he is fighting against bots rather than actual opponents. Hell, at least bots fight back.
