Lol, calm down people. Just trying out yet another aspect of the game that I was not able to touch before due to the tribe constantly rushing to the scene the second anything was leaked. Sorry to the person involved and I truly do feel bad about your situation. The character was fresh though so you didn't lose the world. As for the payment in silver, I would have gladly paid you for some of the chest you'd stolen and I'd been by a few times before aswell. If you would like to continue playing with your main PM me and I'll be glad to return half of your chests and level a small area for you to build on :)

If you truly felt sorry you wouldn't have done it in the first instance.

That said I went into this game with my eyes open, I knew the risks, ironically the reason I wanted to log into the forums (and the whole password reset thing happened) was because I wanted to question how treaty payments were made and how relatively new character with little to no wealth can be expected to pay so much. I knew the possible outcomes I just didn't expect to be so arbitrarily powerless to avoid anything when it actually happened (not being able to log in, see signs, respond etc).

Given that I still cannot log in and assess the damage I truly don't know whether I will continue. If it helps your conscience any feel free to return the chests (now you know that the only things of value I had was some food and the chests themselves) but I don't even know if I still have a claim there that would be a safe place to leave them. I would guess the damage is already done though not least to your reputation.

Ironic, I kinda like all the drama etc associated with Plymouth but the reality is if new people are clipped before establishing themselves then server population will dwindle faster than anywhere else. What will treaty payers do when their tribute skyrockets to facilitate a proxy raid as there is no one else's sand castle to squash for the bully on the beach. In some ways it kinda reminds me of Eve and BoB but then that game had a healthy and renewable population with more importantly only one server.

Lastly, theft is only possible when you trespass and seeing as all the claims around me had previously been broken into and were out of claim for some time I was simply 'finding' items, moot point now.

The claim itself is left untouched, the only thing gone is the granite and the chests. In the chests you did in fact have enough stored (nails etc) that you could have sold or traded for your payment fairly easily. PM me your hearth secret and we can work out a meeting place to have some of your things returned.

The seemingly AFK guy was a guy I made and used kin secret on another account to see if I could tend my fields Turkeys etc. I couldn't do anything as I didn't have permission from the original account and I couldn't even log out (presumably as I didn't have permission to trespass) so I simply shut the client down. That I assumed is why he was stood there.

I am/was a new player, started mid December and scavenged a lot of the stuff from nearby deserted claims. The treaty costs of half your PClaim value (175 silver per month) for that modest claim were/are quite simply beyond me and Ive never been close to owning enough silver to play that. Braves stating that you simply need to hunt for the 11 cricket inspiration to sell for Treaty costs are blatantly untrue. I'm sure once all of the contents of the chests etc have been added up this will verify my apparent newbish'ness and my fiscally challaneged situation.

Combination of no support for my password issues coupled with not being able to actually be around when this **** took place and a community that seems determined to drive everyone away and make the game die have made my decision for me.

I had fun until Midday Friday 11/1/13 when I stopped being able to log in. How apt that this all took place immediately after that.

175 Silver is approx 6 Savage Charms or 5 cricket teams. That is 55 crickets. Assuming you suck and it takes you a full minute per cricket you could have invested the ONE HOUR a month to be safe and have protection from all the dangers of the New World. You tried to pass off your laziness as some kind of excuse and now you have paid the ultimate price. Also the cost of that ore smelter alone was more than your Treaty payment so this is just yet another example of poorly managed priorities. You got greedy and wanted to build a smelter before taking care of your responsibilities. I doubt anybody is surprised at the fate of somebody so negligent in their gameplay.

Also unless you have a time machine it is impossible for you to know what happens November 1st 2013. and this event definitely did not take place immediately after that.

Just go ahead and meet him. He knows you will post his potential treachery on this forum and make him look bad. He wont touch you.

Granite rocks probably have more intrinsic value to me given how far and the time it took to get them.

Actually, are they are the reason you broke in? I haven't really built anything else or added anything inside for the last few days I played. They appear then blam.

1-2 nails would be it though really wouldn't it.
