Because its a permadeath full loot mmo. Pull up your skirt and lets play. You want to just bake pies all day ?

The chief drew the first real line in the sand and so the game begins...
Wether the chief is viewed as hero or villain is irrelevant, if you enjoy living under the rule of the tribe great join them. If not stand up for yourself, be counted, fear not for your pixels and lets play.

I choose not to take a stand, I will just pay my taxes to whomever rules the land as long as they dont ask too much. Btw, let me know how much you want from me chief. I have an area of 437 m2. That equates 218,50 am month right? Where can I give you the money?

The leader of any project like this should have an experience in combat, consequently, he should know other players who are actually good in this and could help. The rebelion should have started from PMing the leaders of the raided towns first, seeing how many people can and willing to follow the project leader. Moreover, naturally, the friends of the people who already joined could join as well. Any organization is based on trust – you cannot trust anyone on the forum.

i agree but this thread is only getting the ball rolling. It's the first town hall meeting.

gonna see how this goes before updates on the op, quite willing to give up the op to a more befitting leader.

The way Chief and MM play the game makes everything more interesting.

Right now the issue is low population (http://login.salemthegame.com/portal/state)

Plymouth is the least played server and declining.

What will end up happening is sub-groups of 'power gamers' will hire themselves out as mercenaries for contract work. Those that played Darkfall will know what I am talking about here. Even the most powerful of alliances crumbled with enough financial pressures. You can 'pay to win' in a sense in this game and silver is a valuable commodity. A small group of hardcore people can make 300+ bile characters in a month (less on an established server with seed purity alts). Sure it sucks to get murdered but the game is more entertaining this way.

Why don't you guys just chill and help us get ready for cross-server war with the Australians?

I think you need to re-read everything that you have ever read on the Salem forums.
