Okay, I see the forums have been a bit busy this morning so I'm going to go over a few things point by point and I hope the issue will see a bit of calm.

First, Vienradis and neored9 have been banned for being overly abusive. Magicman and John missed a call there, but it's all straightened out now and I hope the banned posters will take this time to think about being a little nicer. Yes, the rules ARE for making this forum a relatively friendly place, not just for avoiding legal issues.

Second, I cleaned up the thread in question, let's keep it on the topic of Realak's surgery now, please. If you don't care about Realak or his surgery, just post somewhere else about something you do care about.

Third, I will update the ban thread shortly.

Fourth, in light of his highly drugged state, I'm going to make a small exception and not ban Realak's Agememnon account as long as he doesn't post on it again until Realak is unbanned. However, I'm not going to reverse the Realak ban at this time as it was a pretty murderous thing he said and I can't condone it.

It seems that after the last teaser people just went .. nuts. No self control whatsoever.

But on a more serious note, how can people not manage to keep the game and real life separate? I mean y'all are malicious richards ingame but I still comprehend that that's just one aspect of the game and you have all the right to take advantage of it. Doesn't mean I feel it's okay to hate your real life personas, whatever they might turn out to be. I just think it must be pretty straining to have to care about constantly being negative towards most people, it'd wear me out. I vote we all agree to hate each other ingame, cowboys vs indians style, RP the heck out of it with some clever acid back and forthing, none of this personal attack crap.

If I'm reading this right, you think I should permit people to abuse Realak because he has broken rules and been obnoxious in the past. It doesn't work that way. It doesn't matter if I like Realak or not, it doesn't matter if I like veinradzis or neored9 or you or not, if you break the rules, I punish you. It's nothing personal for me.

People saying they don't care about him is not very nice, but I didn't ban anyone for that. I didn't ban you because you weren't being extremely abusive. You were being an ass, but you weren't wishing sickness and hurt on Realak. I might not like your posts in that thread or others, but I don't ban people based on whether I agree with them or like them or their posts.

If people had only said "I don't care" (no matter what language was used), we wouldn't be having this discussion. Instead, insults were thrown in such a way that it upsets a lot of people.
