Implying the new developers are experts in the field of owning and managing a business themselves? One could also make the argument that it is a rather poor business practice to even bother concerning themselves over such a menial issue so early since taking over.

You'd think they would be more worried about retaining players based on the merits of the game instead of losing players because some guy recommended Mario Kart 64 instead of Salem.

Guys its all good. Although I didnt post a single link anywhere, it did turn from a mere critique to a.QnA, and John felt it was an advert. I apologized and that was the end of it. John has been very good to me, so if I overstepped, I got off lightly. Now as for any further issue, any RZ questions can be directed to me personally and lets let this be the end of it..

If i were to be making this argument, i'd probably pick a more representative answer than some game that A) isn't over 15 years old and B) even relates to the genre in some similar matter.

To note: this was the same rule when Paradox was running the forums. It's not anything new. It's not even anything new to the Internet. As said, you can't expect to walk into a McDonald's and expect to be left alone if you want to advertise Wendy's or Burger King. Wear their merchandise... fine. Speak publicly about the merits of the other place over where you're at, and you'll find yourself being asked to leave, and possibly with a law enforcement escort. I don't know if it's this way in all of the world, but from videos i've seen across the Internet, it seems to be the common practice amongst nearly all of it.

hi welcome to the conversation, Orcling was banned for exactly what I just referenced. He obviously made the post mocking the actual ban on Trenial but regardless he was still banned for "advertising"

Reason for ban could have easily been spamming in the mod complaints thread, one of the few threads on this forum that are supposed to be spam free. Want to make a legit argument? great! want to troll, spam, or otherwise disrupt? do it elsewhere or get kicked. Orcling probably would have gotten a less-harsh punishment if he hadn't already been told to knock that sort of thing off.

It was already bad enough when neoretard jumped in and started directing things off track completely, not sure why you're attempting to negate my arguments with this straw man now, "Reason for ban could have easily been..." lol ok

But sure go ahead and jump to their defense despite me already refuting JohnCarver and TotalyMeow's points and their inability to come up with any reasonable responses to anything I've said.

As I have said many weeks ago, Meow is worse than Hitler. Well maybe not Hitler, let's set the bar a little lower. Stalin, TotalyStalin. Censorship on dis forum be increasing, folks. My original plan was to mock you further with advertising Donkey Kong 64, But I'm afraid she'd ban me for an even longer period of time, to "prove a point".

Incase meow is too dumb to realize the implied complaint in this post and decides to ban me for derail, I'm complaining about the steadily increasing censorship. That's what this thread is here for, right? To complain about ****** modding?

Removed a few derail posts *sigh*

I must say, it pains me when you all compare me to Hitler and Stalin and call me a censor. I feel like those who call me a censor don't know what censorship is.
