Remind yourself though Claeyt, this forum topic is for scalping, the argument for noobs not having enough notice is taking place elsewhere.

Ooohh, the Chief and I had a discussion on this very same thread about noob killing back when and how it would hurt the population of the game. This was when we had 600+ across the servers at the same time. He kept it up and Plymouth died a slow death, population wise. That's generally why you see twice as many people on Roanoke as Plymouth.

To his credit you no longer see any out in the woods random encounter noob kills on this thread much anymore. He stopped doing those around the time the population went into free fall. I think he's as worried as I am about the population drop, he's just going about it a different way. He's trying to create an environment or vibe to the game through his LARPing. Unfortunately the rebellion all died or gave up and we're left with a dead server mostly. I always wondered if GH had been able to stick together instead of somewhat turning on each other would they have been able to build another base somewhere else. I figured it would take them another 6 months to get there, which is right about now. Too bad.

The ***** are you talking about lol. We never turned on each other. We had 3 different places that were not and have not been discovered. Me, bait and a few unnamed others were hitting 300-400+ humors when we got bored with doing the same **** nonstop and no updates to the game. We stopped playing right b4 the purity update.

Only person of GH that died nonstop was coles and mushi. Mushi stopped playing due to IRL stuff or he would of kept on trucking. The rest of us have high crafters and combat chars.

You are very clueless as to what you are talking about.

Hustling and I were on our way to 500+ titans when we were playing... We got to the 300ish mark and then purity hit in the middle of constructing our base and finishing our tiering. Claeyt, you're a goddamn idiot if you think that killing characters in permadeath is the reason for the game's terrible pop. The population was dead 2 weeks after purity was nerfed and it will stay that way until players become more disposable again

I hope you do come back. If you guys had these great characters then why did you guys never challenge the tribe? It seems like Realak and Colesie went a different way and Mushi was off by himself in the rebellion.

Everybody that has quit playing Salem on their own accord are not coming back, unless the developers make new worlds or something.

They are trolling the **** out of you. Neither of them had the dedication or sophistication to get characters anywhere near 500 biles.

P.S. Kill from the drinkTheEvil thread.

Good evening,

A partial list:
-Trojanz was slain in the field, trapped by Chief Peepookaka. Trojanz, Bait, Murphy(?) and a couple others then founded Jamestown. Tribal scouts found Jamestown relatively early on and the Braves removed it, after which most of the Jamestown group quit.
-Mushibag was slain in the field by the Prince of the Gingerbread Men while hunting argopelters
-Karl had been supporting rebellion efforts, but seems to have grown disillusioned at the relative ineffectiveness. I believe material support stopped flowing from Karl soon after Trojanz was slain, but I could be misinformed
-Hustlinguistics quit after his base Darkest Afrikaa was found by Tribal scouts and removed by Braves, for harboring the Coles the Craven
-Colesie quit (sort of) after losing his refuge at Darkest Afrikaa and losing one of his two raiding characters in an embarrassingly obvious trap
-Jinx quit after losing her main at Darkest Afrikaa - her villagemates did not warn her the town was under waste claim, and she logged on right next to a Brave mid-raid. Coles the Craven declined to ransom for her life
-Realak was never really part of the rebellion. He was upset at his lack of standing within the Tribe and tried to make a play for relevance. Rebellion members still didn't trust him (and believed Realak to still be in the Tribe, during the raid of Jamestown). His act was a one-off, and he failed to present any further threat afterwards.
-Judaism quit after being slain in a duel with a half-humored backup Chief, following a failed raid on a Treaty Payer
-Angel of Death quit after Judaism quit, also involved with the failed raid on the Treaty Payer
-MrGemini ceased rebel activities following the fall of Blame PmP and the summon-killing of William Wallace (his raider)
-Most of the Russians of Time Paradox quit after having their fortified square breached and losing a couple characters

In most cases, rebel members quit after experiencing a significant loss and not having enough interest in the game to rebuild.

Faithfully,

-Paul the Paymaster

Most of that isn't true. Everyone in GH except for mushi and gem continued to play until the day of the purity patch. What me and coles said is actually true and not a troll at all.

There was just no motivation at all to play. The game became stale with just a nonstop same ole grind of eating pumpkins and cabbage every day. Sure we would prolly have some "fun" fights when MM members phelm ran out and stopped running but after that its the same ****. Then the grind got worse and less rewarding...
