On the contrary, we do care. Statements have been taken from both parties, other information has been gathered, the Biddas account has been temporarily banned because this issue of who the account should belong to needs to be settled, not because it broke any forum rule.

John Carver will make the decision on what should be done, and that will regrettably be postponed a few days until he has the time to look at it.

Until then, arguing about it won't actually affect the decision and is off-topic for this thread, though I suppose you may create a new thread about it if you are inspired to do so.

Dig through my old PMs because I can't be arsed to. Both of them were PMing about this then. I know they're there because I haven't hit my PM limit.

edit: the new weeaboo. We all want to go native American tribal now!! To note, I find it offensive as an observer the same way most find slang racial names offensive, so.... I feel I should take action, but not sure where we're drawing the line yet.

As it stands we're in a TOS and EULA state oi limbo. That means it does, and does not, effect us currently. It is up to the new developers to update all of the basic legal speak now. In other words passing opinions means nothing. You could claim it is unethical, but that is about all it is right now.

TotallyMeow - when exactly does your studio plan on updating these tiny legal aspects? I'd imagine its being settled in Sweden currently in person; but that is just an assumption. Legal priorities always take priority in these first few months, hence my asking.

The new "weeaboo". We all want to go native American tribal now! To note, I find it offensive as an observer the same way most find slang racial names offensive, so.... I feel I should take action, but not sure where we're drawing the line yet.

Wouldn't any racial slang fall under §2, Content Regulations, No. 5? It is worded in a way to be vague on how severe the wording can be though. A more conservative holding would lean towards complete elimination of any, and all, offensive behaviors it would seem. Though you have a tendency to come off at a medium between a conservative and liberal interpretation of this. Now would be the time for the Head Forum Moderator to clarify.

You can't steal it because I've already used it, but feel free to use it as much as you want in the way that I've describe it and defined it in my previous postscript. I'll give an example:

"Brona, Biddas, Binks and Darwoth are a "Winjuns" because they cowardly decided to become "Followers' and joined the Tribe because it seemed like the Tribe was "Winning". They weren't able to build or fight on their own this world so they became one of the Tribe's underlings instead."

Here's another Example:

"Alloin isn't a "Winjun" because he's so far built and gluttoned on his own with little help from anyone. He's mostly stayed away from the tribe and hasn't become one of their minions."

You known-ling used an account you had no right to. No different than accepting stolen goods. It doesn't matter if Biddas "gave" you the account, he didn't have the right to give it away.

Clearly you haven't been paying attention this last year or two.

If they previous mods didn't ban, punish or even really care about Realak's account being actually used without permission this last month, why would the new mods care about an account that I had for 9 months and that the previous owner actually posted here on the forum that he was giving it to me.

That is relatively amusing as I do not see Mortal Movements Incorporated's name all over the EULA. Seems to be Paradox and SeaTribe for now. Though you are assuming I am Claeyt, so that already says quite a bit. As fun as it would be to sock-puppet and cause a little drama, with a few well worked proxies on the machine next to me, I'll have to pass. Dealing with one account on the forum is annoying enough as it is.

Thank you for the welcome. I hate to break it to you but you are two years late on it sadly. I still prefer Jamestown above all else, take my tea from no where else, and see onward to victory.

The possibility of you being banned is up for the new owner's to decide. What happened did so on Jorb and Loaf's watch, yet has been "reported", so to speak, now. Like I said before, your fate is in their hand; as for all I know they'll complete rewrite the entire EULA and TOS. I could give less than a damn about the Tribe, Candy Remnants, and Darwoth remnant, and everyone else. As all my past sins and retribution were made neutral by divine intervention.

The only difference is that this round I do not have to shove my jackboot up Cole's ass, I'd crucify him if possible, and expect a pathetic semi-divine punishment.
