That just goes to show how new you are at this game. I put 4 chests of 25 Crickets into 4 sleds. So that is 400 Crickets. Then I place these 4 sleds with 4 chests each in my Canoe. That canoe you saw me walking around with had over 400 Crickets inside it which is what allowed me to level my Hunting and Gathering skill while hunting you and gathering your materials.

The rebels aren't criminals. Think of them as the merry men, without Robing Hood (Mushi Lives). They randomly stick their heads up and take out a little claim. I'd be interested to see the Chief track down the Murder Scents on that claim in the OP, as Brett said he just walked in through the broken gate and took stuff, and never killed the 2 guys. Those murder scents might be more of a challenge.
