Ok lets talk about this one. As i see from looking at pages 3/4/5 in that thread the chronology is as following:

- you closed the thread with "for so many reasons not ok"
- jorb asked you: "why?"
- you did not write an answer which is visible in public (hint: "post content" would be applicable here as well)
- jorb opened up the thread, because he did not get an answer from you
- other mods posted pictures as well

lesson for the other users: "sucks to be you, if you cannot summon jorb to re-open your closed threads - no matter what kind of BS you post"

Honestly tired of seeing this thread being bumped by butthurt crybabies.

If you had been here from the start, there has ALWAYS been ***** about the mods, since the first ***** month of this games inception. Nothing has been done.

Stop crying.

Let this thread R.I.P. already.

The thread was re-opened simultaneously with jorb asking why and no discussion on the topic was ever had. While it's not reasonable for me to assume anyone would pay attention to this normally, a quick indicator that it was immediately re-opened is the posting time of jorb and successive posters. Within a couple of minutes of jorb's post responses were already being posted. And that's that, the devs spoke saying the thread was AOK to post in.

That said, I don't fight the devs on issues, so if jorb wants a thread open then I'll keep my hands off of the thread.

Not terribly relevant but just because you included it as a jab, I'll point out that the context of 'post content' lends itself to two different meanings in these instances. The first being to include relevant content within a post, in that case being politics, and yours lending itself to producing a response at all, as I didn't post filler. You can argue that I should have made a statement, as I wouldn't as it's not in my nature to drag on arguments that I see as being essentially set in place, but it's definitely different from posting content as it was used in the other thread.

If anything, shouldn't the lesson be that if you strongly feel a ruling to be made in error and cannot convince a moderator then you can contact the devs and they will review the case?
While you and I may feel one way or another about the content of threads, there is definitely a system of review in place in this instance and it played itself out.

Sure, thats the lesson. I am not in the "strongly feel" situation (yet), therefore i posted my stuff to you mods. And: Most of the stuff which happens here does not justify running/writing/complaining to the devs for obvious reasons.

Complaining here is fine, and complaining to the devs is fine. Reposting closed/edited stuff to spite the mods is not fine, and will get you banned every time.

And Jorb trumps any and all rules. If he said that Mentallyl's recent goatse post was fine, it would stay where it was.

Hey Magic,

I respect your decision to close my bug thread but I think it needs some sort of thread there. I don't want to move all the troll rolling off CoH but I'd still like to have some of our better bug hunters see the thread and the bugs involved.

What if I put the specific bugs involved in a thread down there?

Why do you insist on double posting things?

Even if it is closed, the thread is still there for bug hunters to see. I don't know what more do you want Claeyt...

Answers from loftar and jorb. That's what I want.

Well, catch them on IRC. You're more likely to get an answer from them there than on the forums.
