Greetings Filthy Squatters of Salem,
You may be asking yourself.. Whats this? Who is this person and why are they saying such things? Well let me explain.
Over the months we have had players bring up the fairly legitimate question. "What if I am so new that I cannot afford my Treaty Payment yet but I don't want to be breaking the law". Our knee-jerk response up to this point has been go get your silver THEN go experience Salem. However, thanks to the wild success of our "Pure Plymouth" marketing campaign we have made a minor adjustment to the Treaty.
For the first time ever you may now register with the Paymaster with 0 Silver out of pocket for your first (2) weeks of Salem. ALL benefits of the Treaty will not be made available until you make your first payment but you will be added to the kinlist of all Tribal Braves and you may at least wander the lands without fear of being scalped as a criminal. Once your 2 week probation period is up we will expect you to make your first payment and continue on in full compliance with Tribal Laws and regulations.
And of course posting the Pledge of Allegiance in this very thread will be once of those requirements. You are still encouraged to make your first payment via silver if that is an option as that will preserve the anonymous nature of many treaty payers, however, this is a great option for fresh players to enjoy peace and tranquility while giving them enough time to land on their feet and assimilate into society.
Congratulations Levanah! and welcome to Pure Plymouth.
