In some bases around Plymouth people have mentioned that it seems like when they pay the Treaty they get a feeling like the Chief is always watching over them and protecting them no matter where they go....

I personally think its just a rumor.

So, I saw yesterday that you have a bunch of worms for sale on your Plymouth stalls.

While perusing some old threads that were posted during my absence, I came across this little diddy:
jwhitehorn wrote: From this day forward, under the powers vested under Article IV of the MM Tribe Treaty, any player caught Trafficing in worms, Selling Worms into slavery, Selling a Worm on a stall, or otherwise disrespecting worms shall be punished by the full force of the Tribe. You may keep worms but if you do they shall be treated with the utmost respect and not like "property". For in the end... Are they really that different from you and I?

I trust you will do the right thing.

Mmmm, yes. I bet you'd like that, wouldn't you? Like for us to just leave so you and the turkeys could begin to plot and gobble your way into the worm beds! While examining the radius of the brazier range, during the fourth hour I had a vision of a cricket consuming the entire world, leaving nothing but a black canvas with autumn grass. Then the black canvas melted into an orange autumnal biome, but THE AUTUMN GRASS REMAINED! "Madness," I said to the cricket, who did nothing but grin at me, his eyes multiplying in a beatufiul spiral. And do you know what that rat bastard said to me?! I'm sure you do, having been talking to the turkeys and all. Opening his seven mouths, his tongue hit the floor as he croaked, "What's up, ya'll?"

Some people.

Don't forget to pay the treaty! :)

Was your base possibly hit and a sign left for you to come here? If so please describe the base.

Don't dodge the question! You've had plenty of time to make up a story about why you're selling worms that will fit into your roleplay... Quit slackin.

Those worms are not for "Sale". They are being "rented" out to players to be placed in their bins. Once those players quit we then go retrieve the worms and place them back up for rent. There is most certainly a difference between selling worms permanently and renting them out.

So renting worms into slavery, rather than selling them into slavery is not considered "otherwise disrespecting worms?" If you're renting them out, it seems to me that you are treating them like "property."
